Rockpool Tour
Not everyone who travels to the Seychelles has and had the opportunity to visit the Rockpool.
It is not so easy to find this one, but we will guide you in a private tour there.
The Rockpool is unique and the hike there is easy.
It is a pleasant tour because you will already see some of Mahé on the way there and it can be ideally seen as a half day tour.
You have the possibility to eat something later in the region, the whole thing is really very relaxed, also good for children from 6 years.
Pick up and drop off
We pick you up from any point on Mahé. Be it a hotel, guesthouse, CatCocos berth, Airport, Cruise port, Eden Island or any special address, e.g. at your friends place. After the tour we will also bring you back to the starting point or wherever you want on Mahé.

Tour itinerary
The Rockpool on Mahé, – desired by many with pleasure to discover this one, but mostly never reached, because not many know where it is.
We know it and we know the way to get there.
At about 10:00 am (You can choose the time) we will pick you up at your pickup point of your choice and drive to the entry point for the hike.
Approximately 1 hour is needed for the hike, you will have enough time to either jump into the rock pool, swim, take pictures or just feel the awesome atmosphere that emanates from this place.
Afterwards we will hike back and bring you to your starting point or to a place of your choice within Mahé.
In total we will be on the road for around 3-4 hours.
Important Notes
- Please no Flip Flops
- Take a small Towel with you
- Maybe some extra clothes to change after the swim in the pool
- Bring maybe more water or a softdrink with you
(we bring also some, but we don’t know how much you would like/need)

Approx. 3-4 hours 1 day This is a guided Rock pool tour in the wild south of Mahé. We drive by car to the entry point of the small hike. The hike is not difficult, there are a few small rocks to climb. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Please no flip flops. The tour is private, only you or your group taking part. Amazing place with amazing tour guide
The rock pool is amazing and it is a must see attraction . The way to it is difficult to find and a little bit tough in some parts . But Sheena knows every thing . She is an amazing tour guide with lot of knowledge. She gave me many information on the area and the trees there . I had a chance to swim in the rock pool and had a nice time .

Nice little adventure
The trip was better than what we thought! The tour guide (sheena) was so kind and informative! We had a blast and enjoyed every bit. She showed us lots of small details on the locations (with unique sense of humor).
However, the hike is long. Some people found it difficult (there are two difficult tight rock climbing bits). Wear a proper boot! (Me and my wife wore slippers… you can imagine the comedy).
The pool its self os so noce and beautiful (it looks like the pictures on sunny days). Swimming there is nice too.
Sheena was so kind to accommodate us to other locations to make the best of the trip.
If you are in praslin, this little trip is worth it.

Amazing experience!
It has to be one….., no it has to be THE favourite spot of mine on the island. The trip to rock pool is amazing and a must do for all visitors coming to Seychelles. The south of Mahé is full of surprises and Islandtour Seychelles makes it an incredible experience. The trail is accessible only by foot but it is definitely worth the while if you love nature! I highly recommend it as well as booking via Islandtour Seychelles! Thank me later! You will not regret it!
