Meeting at the cruise terminal

Cruise ships call at the New Port in Victoria, also known as the Cruise Port, only a few minutes from the town centre. Ships such as AIDA, Island Sky from Noble Caledonia, Le Bellot from Ponant and Norwegian Jade anchor here. We meet you directly at the cruise terminal. Tell us the name of your ship and your arrival date when you book, and your guide will be waiting for you when you come ashore.

Private tours timed to your ship

Every shore excursion is private: only you and your partner, family or group, with your own guide and vehicle. We plan the day around your ship's arrival and departure. You decide how much you want to see, and we make sure the timing works. We always bring you back to the port at least 60 minutes before all aboard. No rushing, no worries about missing the ship.

What you can see on Mahé in one day

Mahé is compact, green and full of contrasts, which makes it ideal for a day in port. Our Mahé Island Tour is the classic choice: panoramic viewpoints over the mountains and the sea, a spice garden, the Sauzier waterfall, the wide bay of Anse Intendance and the Takamaka Rum Distillery. If you would rather spend your time in the water, our Beach Tour takes you to some of the finest beaches of Mahé for swimming and snorkelling.

With less time, the Victoria City Tour is a lovely option. Victoria is one of the smallest capitals in the world, with the colourful market, the Clocktower, its charming old architecture and the Botanical Garden, all close together. Active guests can combine a short walk such as the Rockpool hike with a beach stop. Our guides speak English and French, and Sheena also speaks a bit of German, and every tour can be adapted on the day.

Groups up to 50 people

Travelling with friends, a club or a group from your ship? We organise private shore excursions for groups up to 50 people. For larger groups we use comfortable buses, so everyone travels together and nobody misses a stop. Contact us early with the number of guests and your ship details, and we will plan a programme that fits your time in port.

Free cancellation if your ship does not call at Mahé

Sometimes the sea or the itinerary has other plans. If your ship does not call at Mahé, you can cancel free of charge and receive a full refund. Our usual free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour applies as well.

Booking and practical tips

• Book online in advance and enter the name of your ship and your arrival date.
• Your tour is paid in full when you book. Lunch, drinks and entrance fees are optional and paid on site.
• Bring sun protection, water, swimwear and a towel if you plan a beach stop.
• Carry your cruise card and ID for your return to the ship.
