Our Mahé beach tour is made for everyone who wants to see the island without museums or strenuous hikes. Just sand, turquoise water and the most beautiful bays of Mahé. Swim, snorkel, build sandcastles or simply lie in the sun. That is the whole programme.
The tour is private, so only you and your partner, family or group take part. You decide which beaches we visit and how long we stay: a quick photo stop here, an hour in the water there. Tell us your wishes in advance or on the day, or let us surprise you with our favourite beaches. In 5–6 hours there is plenty of time to enjoy several bays, a Creole lunch and perhaps a cocktail on the sand.
Island Tour Seychelles has been a family business on Mahé since 2020. We pick you up anywhere on the island and bring you back wherever you like, at no extra cost. Our guides speak English and French, and Sheena also speaks a bit of German.

Plan your day: what fits in 5 to 6 hours?
For each place, choose a quick photo stop or a proper stay. We add up the time on site and the estimated driving time.
None of this is required, it is here to play with. You can carry your stops into the booking, or simply skip the planner: then your guide suggests the route, or we decide together on the day of the tour.
Driving times are estimates. Traffic and the weather can change the day, and your guide adapts the route on the spot.

Pick up
We collect you at your hotel, guesthouse, the airport, Victoria jetty, the cruise terminal, Eden Island or a friend's home. On the way we choose the beaches together.
Anse Intendance
Swim, snorkel, admire the view and take pictures in this wild bay in the south. The Summer Beach Bar serves cocktails on the sand. About 1 hour, depending on the cocktails.
Anse Royale
A long, wide and beautiful beach in the southeast. A perfect snorkelling spot, with several restaurants on the beach. About 1–2 hours without lunch.
Anse à la Mouche
A calm beach in the southwest. The water is very flat and shallow, so not ideal for swimming or snorkelling, but perfect for lying down with a cold beer. About 1 hour.
Anse Soleil
A wonderful mix of beach time and good Creole food, with fresh fish or squid. About 1 hour without lunch.
Anse Takamaka
A lovely beach in the south with a good Creole restaurant for lunch or an early dinner. About 1 hour without lunch.
Petite Anse
A very exclusive beach in the middle of the Four Seasons resort. Access depends on the hotel and its security, so we cannot promise entry, but we will try for you. About 1 hour.
Sauzier Waterfall
A short walk of 10–15 minutes leads to an unusual waterfall where you can take a refreshing dip in fresh water. About 1 hour. Entrance fee payable on site.
Port Launay
One of the most beautiful beaches on Mahé, in a wide bay near the Ephelia hotel. A good place to combine with the sunset, depending on where you stay. About 1–2 hours.
Carana Beach granite rocks
Spectacular granite boulders and a must for photos. You can swim, but the waves are rough and only for strong swimmers. About 1 hour.
Sunset Beach
A small hidden beach in the north with few people and very good snorkelling. About 1–2 hours.
Beau Vallon
The long beach of the north, with swimming, snorkelling, beach restaurants and take aways. About 1–2 hours.
Sunset drink and drop off
End the day with a sundowner on the beach if you like. Then we bring you back to your starting point or anywhere else on Mahé, including the airport.

A Mahé beach tour instead of one hotel beach
Mahé has dozens of beaches, and each one has its own character. Some are wild and open to the ocean, others are calm and sheltered, some are busy and lively, others almost empty. Most visitors only get to know the beach in front of their hotel. On our beach tour you discover several of the finest bays in one relaxed day, with a local guide who knows where the water is clear, where the snorkelling is good and where the best Creole food is served.
Your beach day, your rules
No boring sights, no strenuous hikes. You decide if you only want a quick look and a few photos or an hour in the water. We drive, you relax. If you have no plan at all, simply let us surprise you. We know which beaches suit the weather, the tide and your mood on the day.
Beaches of the south
The south of Mahé is famous for its long, wild beaches. Anse Intendance is a favourite for swimming and photos, and the Summer Beach Bar serves cocktails right on the sand. Anse Royale is long and wide, and one of the best places for snorkelling on the island. Anse Takamaka has a good Creole restaurant for lunch or an early dinner. On the southwest coast, Anse Soleil combines beach time with fresh fish and squid, while calm Anse à la Mouche is ideal for lying in the shade with a cold drink.
Beaches of the west and north
Port Launay lies in a wide bay and is one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahé, a good choice if you want to stay for the sunset. The granite rocks of Carana Beach are among the most photographed places on the island. Swim there only if you are a strong swimmer, the waves are rough. Sunset Beach in the north is small and quiet, with very good snorkelling. Beau Vallon is the lively beach of the north, with restaurants, take aways and room to swim.
A little extra
Petite Anse, inside the Four Seasons resort, is one of the most exclusive beaches of Mahé. Access depends on the hotel, but we are happy to try for you. If you need a break from salt water, a short walk takes you to Sauzier Waterfall for a refreshing freshwater dip.
Food, drinks and a sunset on the beach
A beach day on Mahé is also about good food. Along the way we stop wherever you like for a Creole lunch, a snack or a cold drink. Meals and drinks are optional and paid on site. To end the day, we can watch the sun go down at Beau Vallon in the north, at Port Launay in the northwest, or at Anse à la Mouche, Baie Lazare or Anse Intendance in the south. A local rum or an ice cold local beer is never far away.
Who takes you to the beach
Island Tour Seychelles is a Seychellois family business, run by Sheena Jean since 2020. Like all our guides, she is licensed and holds an official tour guide certificate, and together with Chris, Kevin, Yannick and Keeto our team shows guests the beaches of our island. We are happy to make you happy.

OTTIMA. Brava guidatrice, seria e riservata.
