Your holiday does not always start at a hotel. Maybe you arrive by ferry from Praslin, step off a cruise ship in Victoria or fly in from an outer island. That is no problem at all. Besides your hotel or guesthouse, there are 9 places on Mahé where we pick you up for a tour free of charge: ports, jetties, the airport and even helicopter landing sites. This guide explains each pickup point on Mahé, so you can plan your tour with a relaxed mind.
All our tours are private, so only you and your partner, family or group travel in the vehicle. Pick up and drop off anywhere on Mahé are included in every tour. There are no extra costs for the pickup, the return trip or a different drop off point on Mahé.
The 9 port, jetty and airport pickup points on Mahé
1. Cat Cocos berth (Inter Island Quay, Victoria)
Coming from Praslin or La Digue? We pick you up directly at the Cat Cocos ferry dock on Mahé. Our pickup time follows the arrival time of the ferry, and we will be waiting for you when you walk off the boat. With luggage, just tell us in advance so we choose a vehicle with enough space.
2. Marine Charter and Waterfront Cafe
If you stay on Cerf Island, a taxi boat takes you to the Waterfront Cafe at the Marine Charter port in Victoria. We meet you right there and start the tour from the harbour.
3. New Port and Cruise Port in Victoria
Cruise ships such as AIDA, MS Island Sky from Noble Caledonia, Le Bellot from the Ponant group and the Norwegian Jade anchor in Victoria at the so called New Port, also known as the Cruise Port. We pick you up at the terminal and show you Mahé on a private Mahé Island Tour, or explore the capital with you on the Victoria City Tour. Just tell us your ship and the time you are allowed ashore, and we plan the day so you are back on board in good time.
4. Eden Island
No matter which island you stay on, boats from islands such as Félicité (Six Senses Zil Pasyon) or Frégate Island can bring you to Eden Island. From there we start your transfer or tour on Mahé.
5. Hilton Labriz jetty in Bel Ombre
Guests of the Hilton Labriz Resort on Silhouette arrive on Mahé at the Hilton jetty in Bel Ombre, on the north west coast. We are happy to pick you up there.
6. JA Enchanted Island Resort jetty
The resort on Round Island also has its own jetty on Mahé. We can pick you up directly there and start your tour.
7. Club Med Seychelles landing point
Club Med guests from Sainte Anne arrive at their own landing point on Mahé, where there is also a small Club Med branch. We meet you there for your tour.
8. Helicopter landing sites
If you arrive by helicopter, we know exactly where to pick you up. We can also take you to a helicopter pad during or after the tour, for example if you spend your holiday on North Island, Silhouette or La Digue. On request, a helicopter flight can even be combined with your tour. Just ask us.
9. Seychelles International Airport
Arriving by plane from Praslin, Bird Island, Denis Island, Desroches or Aldabra? We pick you up at the airport and take you straight on our Airport Tour, a gentle first taste of Mahé. It also works the other way around: after the tour we drop you at the airport for your flight. Your luggage stays safely in the vehicle.
How a pickup on Mahé works
- Book your tour online and tell us your pickup point and your arrival time.
- If you stay on another island or in a resort, let the front desk know that you are taking a tour with us. They can arrange the boat for you and make sure we are allowed in at the hotel entrance.
- Your guide waits for you on time at the agreed place.
- After the tour we bring you back to your starting point or to any other place on Mahé you like.
